New Beginnings,

They often seem hard,

To the broken hearts,

Or they spark a hunger,

To achieve a higher grail,

They diminish prior conquests,

And leave us begging to be more,

They reduce our self-worth.

Rather that’s what people say,

As it’s only the dauntless who have the fire,

To be better than what they were yesterday...
